About

Who comes to the house

The short version of who we are, what we’re willing to state plainly, and where the reviews actually come from.

Who we are

Nation Wide Chimney Sweep & Repair Concord operates out of Concord, covering the rest of Contra Costa County from there. There’s no storefront to walk into — this is a service-area operation, and every job happens at your property, not ours.

Five services make up the whole offering: sweep, cleaning, inspection, repair and cap installation. Any one technician can scope all five, and whoever shows up handles whichever the job actually calls for.

What we’ll state plainly, and what we’ll leave blank

Everything on this page is something we can back up: a 5.0 rating across 10 Google reviews as counted on 2026-08-26, and a service radius running twenty miles out from central Concord. What you won’t find here is a license number, a certifying body, a founding date or posted hours — none of that has been confirmed for this location, and a blank space beats a made-up answer every time.

The reviews behind it

Every one of the 10 reviews on our Google Business Profile lands at five stars, and none of them are handpicked for this page — the profile itself is one click away, showing the same set anyone else would see.

“After months of struggling with a stuck damper handle, a technician cleaned out the track of carbon deposits that had built up and made the operation smooth and easy.” — Sabrina Powell, Google review

“Carbon deposits had obviously built up on the glass doors and refractory brick, so a dual-stage cleaning was performed that cleaned the soot away and left the whole firebox looking brand new.” — Melissa Mitchell, Google review

How a visit actually goes

Nothing touches a firebox — brush, vacuum, tool — until the floor and hearth are covered first. Sweep and cleaning jobs run under a sealed HEPA vacuum from start to finish. Repair work gets its scope put in writing before anything starts, never a number quoted standing in the driveway.

Where we work

Coverage runs twenty miles out from central Concord — the city itself, along with Pleasant Hill, Walnut Creek, Clayton, Martinez, Pittsburg, Danville, Antioch, San Ramon, Vallejo and Brentwood. Sitting just past that line? Give us a call and we’ll confirm before you book.

After a worker cleaned the smoke chamber and swept away baked-on soot from the upper flue walls, the smell of creosote that had been there since the warm summer months was gone.
  • Norma Peterson

Discolouration on the brick facing led to a deep inspection and sweep, removing concealed creosote pockets behind the lintel, eliminating smoke spilling across the room.
  • Evan Hughes

Very concerning chimney downdraft caused by strong winds was rectified when the sweep eliminated a substantial soot ring at the crown that had been obstructing the natural exit flow.
  • Kannon Odom

Our winter parties were about to be ruined by the extreme draft resistance, but a planned sweep found a collapsed inside baffle, cleared the route, and optimized the heat distribution.
  • Daniel Rodriguez

We cleaned out our wood burning fireplace insert just before winter set in. The airway is wide open, the heat output this season is considerably better.
